Movement is
how you as a designer move the viewer's eye through a space with the line,
contrast, volume, and the placement of objects within a design. Space has two aspects: Positive space, which is represented by an object; Negative space, which is represented by open space. The balance of space creates a composition. |

Collect
and study print materials from around your community. What makes
one design more appealing than another? You can develop a sense of good
design by carefully studying other designs. Part of being a good designer/publisher
is research.
You will then be ready to tackle the in-class projects as we learn Adobe InDesign and Photoshop. |
