Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
SEO is the process
of improving the volume and quality of traffic to
your web site from search engines via search results
for targeted keywords. The higher your site "ranks",
the more searchers will visit your site. Sites' positions
in search engine results are determined based on
a number of factors.
Tina will optimize
your web site in order to ensure that your site can
easily be found on major search engines. She
can perform a complete analysis of your site's
code, text, and links to ensure that search engines
will be able to read ("crawl") your site's
content. This includes:
- Validation and minor adjustments
of your site's home page code and text
- Create additional content for your
web site based on your final keyword list and integrate
that content into your optimized web pages
- Developing an XML site map
for your Web site
- Submit your domain name to major
search engines and directories; specifically, Yahoo & Yahoo
Webmaster Tools (these are two different things),
Google & Google Webmaster Tools and DMOZ.
Tina can also set up your Google
AdWords account. She has years of experience and
knows all the tips and tricks behind Google marketing.
This designer had the opportunity to sit in
on several meetings with a Google Representative,
thanks to one of her clients. These meetings have
provided her with a wealth of information when optimizing
and setting up AdWords accounts.
